Course Content

Entry Requirement

The course units include hardware and software, using information, presenting information and developing IT systems. You will also develop your Key Skills in Maths, IT, and Communications. Additional units in Maths are available to assist students' progress to Advanced Level. You will learn through workshops, written assignments, formal teaching and self-study.

The BTEC First Diploma is a vocational qualification taken in England and Wales and Northern Ireland by young people aged 16 and over and by adults. The qualification is organised and awarded by the Edexcel Foundation within the BTEC brand.

The BTEC First is a level 2 qualification that can be delivered at KS4 and KS5.
