About Me

My name is Timothy Lam I am years old, I am currently a PhD Student Researching in WebRTC, Student Ambassador London South Bank University STEMNET Ambassador also I hold an MSc Internet, Mobile System and Application with a Distinction and BSc (Hons) Information Technology (with Placement) (4350) on the computing pathway with a 2:1 at London South Bank University

During my Foundation Year At London South Bank University I took part in a group project which was to build a Database using Microsoft Access.

In my First Year at London South Bank University I took part in various group project during Semester 1 and Semester 2 this includes Big Lottery Data which involves data analysis, identifying key performance indicators and creating insights from data for different level of managements. During Semester 2 in my first year at London South Bank University I Chose a module called Software Development For Business 2 where I develop a software package using python for a business scenario that was given to me as a semester project.

In my Second year in semester 1 at London South Bank University I develop a software package using java for a business scenario that was given to me as a semester project During my semester 1 I learnt how you create a website in one of my module called Digital Business Application this includes HTML & CSS, PHP, MySQL, JavaScript and Ajax I also took part in a group assignment for one of my module called System Design Techniques this includes Designing a system called LSBU E-Car for the users to user which I created a interactive website. During Semester 2 in my second year I developed a website as part of a group assignment for one of the module called Business Database System I also took part in various group project for a module called User-Centred Design this include creating a interactive prototype website using Balsamiq and a Usability Evaluation testing a Application called Simventure

In my Third year Final Year in Semester 1 I have studied three modules these are: IS Project Management, Social and Collaborative Computing and Distributed Computer System and in Semester 2 I have studied two modules these are: Honours Informatics Project and Engineering Software. In my Honours Informatics Project, I undertook a research on the following project: Data Interoperability in Cloud Base IoT in Disater management.

In my postgraduate year, in Semester 1 I have studied four modules these are: Future Internet Technoloies, Statistical Analysis and Modelling, Semantic Web and Mobile Application Technologies and Wireless and Mobile Networks and in Semester 2 I have studies four modules these are: Systems - Cyber Threats, Vulnerabilities and Countermeasures, Media (VoIP/Video) Technologies, Research Methods and Dissertation. In my Dissertation, I undertook a development on the following project: Browser to Browser High Performance Teleconferencing Network: Digital Health Application this dissertation was to develop a WebRTC to communicate for patient and doctors.
